Massage Therapy

Massage therapy is a form of skillful touch designed to increase healthy body functioning and a balanced state of mind.  At Julee Snyder Bodywork, you pay for time not the service.  All sessions are customized to fit your specific needs and include the following modalities.  During your verbal intake, we will discuss what you need from your session.

Craniosacral. Craniosacral therapy is a gentle bodywork that releases central nervous system tensions so other body systems relax and self-correct.  It is very subtle and deeply restful.

Deep Tissue.  Deep Tissue massage is designed to relieve severe tension in the muscle and the connective tissue or fascia.

Medical Massage.  Medical massage uses a variety of techniques to treat chronically inflamed soft tissue that cause pain problems such as tension headaches, low back pain, neck injuries, tmj syndrome, plantarfasciatis, fibromyalgia, carpel tunnel syndrome and many others.   Techniques include trigger point, neuromuscular, orthopedic assessment, myofascial, and osteopathic medical modalities such as articulatory technique, muscle energy technique, myofacial release, cranial, and lymphatic.

Prenatal.  Prenatal massage shares many of the goals of regular massage — to relax tense muscles, ease sore spots, improve circulation and mobility, and make you feel relaxed.

Relaxation.  A relaxation massage is a rather straightforward session using classic Swedish massage techniques. The massage therapist will use light to medium pressure, with the intent to help the client relax.
